Lot Description
A 1930's silver muffin dish, the shaped square base dish having an applied rim and canted corners with scalloped edge, the domed cover with fluted detail, stained wood finial and opening to a removable plain silver liner. Hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson), Sheffield 1937. Base measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm) square, maximum height to finial measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), gross weight 27.83 ozt (865.7 grams).

Condition Report
The muffin dish, cover and liner all appear in good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Also some tarnishing and residues of polish. A few heavier contact marks and scratches, mainly to liner and base interior and also around base rims. Both liner and cover appear to be a good fit to base. Hallmarks are clear and legible, including part hallmarks to cover and liner.
