Lot Description
A pair of Edwardian silver mounted photograph frames, the oblong aperture with shaped surround embellished in relief with a young woman in a traditional dress and hat carrying a basket amidst a rural scene, mounted on a replacement oak easel reverse. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1905. Height measuring 8 5/8 inches (22 cm).

Condition Report
In refurbished condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Replacement pins. Some signs of repair along the top of the mounts as there is visible floods of solder. Minor loss of definition to the decoration. Hallmarks clear and legible, further marked Rd 455558?.
