Lot Description

A large late Victorian silver mounted clear glass bowl, of circular lobed form with crimped stitch style detail beneath the plain silver mount. Hallmarked Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton), Birmingham 1898. Diameter of mount measures 8 1/8 inches (20.8 cm).

Condition Report

In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mount appears slightly out of line in places to the rim of the glass bowl. Heavier contact marks beneath the base. Hallmarks clear and legible.
