Condition Report
Considering the age of the spoon, the overall condition appears to be fairly good. Some tarnishing and expected surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with the age. Surface nicks and bumps to the bowl and there is heavier wear around the edge. It appears more worn down on one side and the metal feels thinner in this area. The stem was possibly once faceted but this definition is now worn. Loss of surface detail to the terminal and it does also appear to lean very slightly, possible repairs or restoration? The surface on the top of the terminal appears heavily pitted. There is some rubbing, loss of surface detail and partial distortion to some of the hallmarks but given the age they have faired well and are mostly clearly legible. The date letter displays the heaviest wear.
