Lot Description

An early twentieth century set of twelve silver-gilt mounted tot cup glasses, each circular pierced holder with dancing cherubs, scroll handle and green tinted cut-glass cup, contained within a fitted case. Hallmarked Army & Navy Cooperative Society Ltd., London 1912. Height measuring 2 1/8 inches (5.6 cm), gross weight of holders 3.8 ozt (120.8 grams).

In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The silver-gilt appears fairly dull in appearance. The lining of the fitted case is ripped and worn to one lid revealing the padded stuffing, minor scuffs and wear to the exterior of the case. Remnants of polish visible. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
