Lot Description
A late Georgian silver and gold portrait miniature diamond and enamel brooch. Of marquise-outline, the portrait painted to depict a lady, after Richard Cosway, with blue and white enamel and rose-cut diamond surrounds and highlights. One diamond deficient. Length 4.4cms. Weight 9.7gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One diamond and mount deficient of the diamonds on blue enamel surround.
<li>Glazed panel with moderate abrasion.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate carat weight, colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Some diamonds with nicks and small chips.
<li>Blue enamel is in good condition with minor nibbles and few cracks.<p>
