Lot Description
A late Victorian gold diamond hinged bangle. The graduated old-cut diamond line, with rose-cut diamond double spacers and openwork scrolling gallery. Principal five diamonds known total weight 11.44cts, estimated K-L colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Estimated total diamond weight 15 to 16cts, I-L colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 27.2gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Two noticeable localised dents to the bottom of the bangle on each side.
<li>Two small diamond point stones are deficient.
<li>Diamonds bright.
<li>Principal diamond weight 3.40cts.
<li>Diamonds 2 and 3 weighing 2.05cts and 2.10cts.
<li>Diamonds 3 and 4 weighing 1.70cts and 1.55cts.
<li>One of the principal diamonds and one other have an off-centre surface reaching feather inclusion. Some stones have small surface chips, seen with magnification.
