Lot Description
A George II silver marrow scoop, of typical double-ended form and monogram engraved to stem just below the wider bowl, hallmarked Ann Hill, London 1734, length 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm). Together with a further example, marked to reverse of stem with scratch initials 'W.E.A', lion passant and an indistinct mark. Weight 2.72 ozt (84.8 grams).

Condition Report
Both displaying some tarnishing and general wear with surface scratches, marks and nicks commensurate with their age and use.
George II scoop appears in good overall condition given the age. Hallmarks are partly worn and distorted but still legible.
Other scoop with signs of repair at the base of the large bowl to the stem. Also with heavier wear around the edge and tip. Lion passant significantly rubbed and traces only are visible of a further mark.
