Lot Description
A pair of George V silver mounted candlesticks in Neo-Classical style, of navette shape, the loaded base rising to a tapering column with vase socket and removable nozzle, with fluted and reeded decoration throughout, personal presentation engraving to one. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1919 and 1921. Height measuring 11 1/2 inches (29.2 cm).

Condition Report
Both with some quite heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. Otherwise appearing in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Some visible solder around seam lines, possible small repairs. Residues of wax. Both nozzles fit well on one candlestick but not on the other. Hallmarks located to base rim with corresponding part hallmarks to nozzles, a little rubbed but still clearly legible. One with presentation engraving around base rim.
