A George III silver mustard pot, of rounded part fluted form with foliate capped handle, the hinged cover with embossed stylised foliate design and shell thumb-piece opening to reveal a blue glass liner, hallmarked Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I, London 1817. Together with a Victorian silver kitchen pepper, monogram engraved with scroll handle and removable pierced dome topped cover, hallmarked Birmingham 1889, maker's mark rubbed and indistinct. Weight excluding glass liner 5.64 ozt (175.5 grams). (2).

Mustard pot with general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Small indentations and knocks, relief decoration rubbed and worn, thumb piece possibly bent, knocks and splits to overlapping rim, hallmarks rubbed and worn. Blue glass liner with scratches and small losses and nicks to edges.
Kitchen pepper with general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Small indentations and knocks across the body and cover, foot with dent and is uneven as a result, interior and cover with heavy pepper residue, hallmarks rubbed and worn.
