Two pairs of George III silver sugar tongs, the first example with engraved decoration, hallmarked John Lambe, London 1798, the second of plain form, hallmarked London possibly 1810, maker's mark worn. Together with five further pairs to include a late Victorian example, hallmarked Walker & Tolhurst Ltd, London 1895, an Edwardian example hallmarked A J Bailey, Birmingham 1903, two George V examples with apostle style decoration to handle, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1919, and Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1930, plus a further George V pair hallmarked Pinder Brothers, Sheffield 1918.
