Full Lot Description
Ian Norbury (1948 - present) - 'Harlequin Triumphant', a carved wooden figure modelled as a harlequin with applied metal face mask and inlaid wooden suit, standing with fingers raised giving a 'V' sign, above a carved and painted spiral staircase representing his climb to power over authority, the whole upon a marble circular, stepped base. (Approximately 62" (157.5cm) tall). Together with an oil painting on canvas entitled 'Welcome to the Paradise of Fools', signed Ian Norbury,(19.5" X 15.5") and a framed and glazed watercolour depicting a jester, signed Ian Norbury, dated 2011, (23.5" X 15.25").
