An Edwardian painted satinwood ladies' workbox on raised supports, the box with a domed cover painted with a panel depicting young infants within a rose painted border, with painted and silk panelled front, back and sides, the whole raised upon painted, tapered square block and splayed supports, united by shaped stretchers. 33.25" high x 16.75" wide (84.5cm high x 42.5cm wide).
