An 18ct gold ruby cabochon and brilliant-cut diamond necklace.
Estimated dimensions of largest ruby cabochon 7.3 by 6.2 by 3mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 2cts, predominantly H-I colour, VS-SI clarity.
Chain with hallmarks for Birmingham.
Length of necklace 50cms. 21.2gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Chain shows evidence of alteration, soft solder visible to hoop surmount.
<li>One area of mount is slight bent out of shape.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright and lively.<p>
<li>Rubies are well matched, medium deep pinkish-red hues, well saturated, with fair clarity and sizeable inclusions some are surface reaching.<p>
<li>Rubies are in fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles to surface, one ruby with large crack extending along the surface.<p>
<li>Estimated dimensions of diamond and ruby panel 6 by 3.5cms.
