Full Lot Description
A set of eight Cash's of Coventry woven silk pictures of birds, to include a Bald Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Great Horned Owl, and five other wild birds, each 4.25" x 3",(11cm x 7.5cm), each in card mount and gilt frame under glass. Together with four hunting prints after Henry Alken, three captioned 'Scraps from the Sketch Book of Henry Alken. Engraved by Himself', and beneath 'London. Published March 1820 by Thos. McLean Hay Market', each hand-coloured, 6.75" x 9", (17cm x 23cm), in card mounts and Hogarth frames under glass.

<li>Silk panels are not flat. They have lifted in some areas and some have rippled.
