Full Lot Description

A George V silver condiment set by Mappin & Webb, comprising a pair of mustard pots, a pair of open salts, all with blue glass liners, and a pair of pepper pots, each of plain bellied form with applied wavy rim and raised on pad feet, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1918/19, together with four associated salt and mustard spoons, various dates and makers. Silver weight excluding glass 6.84 ozt (212.8 grams).

<li>All pieces displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.

<li>Heavier tarnishing and staining to interiors.

<li>Some minor surface dints and bumps, mainly to pepper pots.

<li>Hinged lids of pepper pots appear in good working order. Possible repair around the hinges of one.

<li>Further damage or repairs around the neck of one pepper pot. And possibly to finials of lids.

<li>Slight knocks to some feet, although most stand steady. One pepper pot with slight wobble.

<li>Hallmarks rubbed but mostly legible. Heavier wear to some, especially on the salts.

<li>Some edge chips and nibbles to glass liners.
