Full Lot Description
A turn of the century silver mounted jewellery box, modelled as a single draw commode, the serpentine oblong form with a removable pull out silver mounted wooden draw with velvet lined interior and drop ring handle, the top with an embossed scene of five cherub or angel heads within a scroll rim border, the whole raised upon four foliate mounted cabriole legs. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1901. Overall length 7.5" (19cm), height 4.25" (11 cm).

<li>Displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
<li>Surface wear and rubbing to the raised decoration causing some slight loss of detail to some areas.
<li>The pull out drawer slightly catches when put back in but fits well and aligns with the front.
<li>The interior lining is dirty but undamaged.
<li>The box slightly wobbles on its feet, as one of the front and back legs have compressed.
<li>Residues of sticky label to one side.
<li>Hallmarks rubbed but all still legible.
