An early Victorian silver claret jug, with circular footed base rising to an ovoid shape body to a tall cylindrical neck with hinged lid and tall loop handle, with leaf patterns and scroll motif decoration to the whole. Hallmarked John Wilmin Figg, London 1847. Height to handle 12.5" (31.5cm), weight 21.6 ozt (672.5 grams).
