Full Lot Description
An early Victorian silver vinaigrette, of scroll-edge oblong shape, engraved and chased with scrolling foliage to the whole, the hinged lid also initial engraved to centre and opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with a similarly decorated and pierced grille. Hallmarked Edward Smith, Birmingham 1851. Length 5cm, gross weight 21.9 grams.
