A Victorian silver vinaigrette, the scroll-edge rectangular form with foliate decoration and fitted with a pendant loop, the hinged lid with plain shield cartouche to centre, and opening to a silver-gilt interior with foliate-scroll pierced grille and sponge. Hallmarked Frederick Marson, Birmingham 1870. Length excluding loop 3.4cm, gross weight 15.9 grams.
