A George III silver egg vinaigrette, the plain ovoid form with screw cover opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior and hinged grille with engraved diamond pattern and simple drilled holes. Hallmarked to cover only Nicholas Edwards, London 1800. Height 5cm, gross weight 37.2 grams.

<li>Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and minor nicks; slight dint to cover.
<li>Some light tarnishing and some dirt residues to interior.
<li>Both parts screw together fairly well but can get a bit stuck and feels a little stiff.
<li>Gilding to interior and grille fairly bright.
<li>Hinged grille appears in good working order.
<li>Main hallmarks located to interior of cover, these all clearly legible
<li>Further mark to interior of the base (larger part), difficult to see clearly as right inside the pointed end but looks to be a lion passant.
<li>Grille is unmarked.
