A 19th century 15ct gold garnet, old and rose-cut diamond floral brooch.

Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.10ct.
Stamped 15ct. Length 4.7cms. 7gms.

<li>Dark discolouration and file marks to area to the top of the back of the brooch, possible chemical gold testing. Small areas of discolouration, wear to the gilt finish.
<li>Pin is base metal. Pin is bent and does not fasten securely.

<li>Diamonds appear fairly bright and well matched.

<li>Setting prevents estimated for carat, colour and clarity assessment of rose-cut diamond. Estimated diameter 4.2mms.<p>

<li>Rose-cut diamond and garnets are in closed back settings, presumed foil back.

<li>Garnets appear a well matched deep red hue. Some facet edge abrasions.
