A multifaceted, graduated coral bead single-strand necklace, with 19th century gold floral embossed octagonal clasp.

Length 79cms. 102.6gms.

<li>Coral untested for natural colour origin.
<li>Coral appear a well matched, slightly mottled, deep orangey red hue. Slight whitish and more orangey mottled hues.
<li>Varied polyp holes visible. One of the larger beads has a fracture/fissure.
<li>Estimated dimensions of largest bead 17.6 by 17.9mms.
<li>Estimated dimensions of apparent smallest bead 8 by 6mms.
<li>Length of clasp 2.4cms.
<li>Very approximate weight of clasp 1.8gms.
<li>Clasp electronically tests as approximately 17-18ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
