A late Victorian silver plumb-bob telescopic propelling pencil pendant, by Sampson Mordan & Co., suspended from a woven hair necklace.
Pendant with registration kite mark dated 12th September 1873.
Length of pendant 3.6cms. Length of necklace 53cms. Total weight 19gms.

<li>General light to moderate marks and wear. Some discolouration to the metal.
<li>Pencil appears to be missing the nib to the end. Propelling mechanism appears to function. Lead does not appear to be present.
<li>Pencil signed S. Mordan Co., No 2909.
<li>Hair necklace appears in good condition, with some light fraying. Some dents to the clasp.
