A mid 19th century 15ct gold purple garnet grapes brooch, with locket reverse. Length 4.3cms....

<li>Scratches and small marks. Slight peeling to the gilt finish.
<li>File mark to the reverse.
<li>Base metal pin. Later base safety chain.
<li>Faint engraving to the reverse, dated 1866.
<li>Garnets appear a well matched reddish purple hue.
<li>Three gems chipped.
<li>Numerous small dents to the mounts.
