Lot Description

A late 19th century 14ct gold shallow old-cut diamond and sapphire floral brooch, with black enamel highlights.

Austrian marks. Length 4.3cms. 18gms.

<li>Scratches and small marks. Varied discolouration.
<li>Clasp is dented, barely functional, may require attention.
<li>Small soft solder repairs.
<li>Claws variously worn, one sapphire set at an angle.
<li>Diamond appears fairly bright.
<li>Estimated dimensions of diamond 6.7 by 5.3 by approximately 2mms.
<li>One lighter blue paste replacement.
<li>Sapphires appear a well matched dark blue hue. One sapphire with small chips. Minor to moderate facet edge abrasion. Not all sapphires tested.
