A mid-20th century silver mounted table cigarette box, of rectangular, engine turned form, the lid having a central, applied lion rampant motif and thin, decorative foliate border and with presentation engraved panel to main body, upon four mounted and splayed feet. Hallmarked John Rose, Birmingham 1962. Length 8.25" (20.7cm).

<li>Hinged lid is in good working condition.
<li>Corner edges and feet show darker tarnishing marks, with a darker stain above lion rampant.
<li>Wooden mount is in generally good condition, with small crack to mount within lid.
<li>Box has a removable velvet lining to the interior.
<li>Hallmarks are clear and legible.
