Full Lot Description
A pair of scissor action tongs, having scrolled blades and ring handles, with shell terminals and initial engraving to tension screw, hallmarked lion passant and maker's mark. Together with five further pairs of sugar tongs, including a pair with twisted handles and figural embossing and two small examples with scaled, claw terminals, hallmarked various markers, Sheffield 1883 and 1928 and Birmingham 1900, with two further hallmarked, larger examples. Gross weight 5.06 ozt (157.4 grams). (6)
