An Edwardian silver pepper mill, of plain, typical form with flat head, hallmarked Asprey & Co Ltd, Birmingham 1909, together with a baluster shape pepperette, having reeded detail to central body and engraved and pierced cover, hallmarked John Henry Rawlings, London 1913 and a small toast rack of domed form, with handle of conforming design, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1940. Height of pepperette 4.5" (11.3cm), gross weight 8.52 ozt (265.3 grams).

<li>Items with surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>Head to pepper mill shows some considerable bashes to the edges and to top.
<li>Head is unstable and wobbles.
<li>Maker's mark is rubbed but legible, and alongside 'Asprey London' stamp.
<li>Pepperette shows some light bashing and bumping around girdle area.
<li>Piercing to lid shows considerable polish residue and dirt.
<li>Pierced lid also displays some bashing.
<li>Pierced lid fits quite stiffly onto fitting of main body and wobbles on fitting.
<li>Interior to toast rack is quite darkly tarnished.
<li>Hallmarks are clear and legible across all items.
