A selection of assorted silver salt & pepper pots, comprising two miniature pairs, one having rounded, panelled central body, stamped 'Sterling', the other of plain, bellied form, hallmarked W I Broadway & Co, Birmingham 1987, and one larger, rounded cylindrical pair, with a peaked girdle and upon spread base, hallmarked Viner's Ltd, Sheffield 1936 and 1938. Together with five further examples, including a miniature example on balled feet, hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, London 1896, an example of baluster form, upon shell mounted stepped feet with shaped rim to domed, pierced cover, hallmarked Jay, Richard Attenborough Co Ltd, Chester 1928, a smaller, similar example, hallmarked Adie Bros Ltd, Birmingham 1925, a larger, conical example hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1922, plus a panelled example, hallmarked James Carr, Birmingham 1934. Overall gross weight 9.01 ozt (280.5 grams).

<li>Multiple item lot in mostly fair condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches.
<li>One cover to the larger pair is jammed, so hallmark on the cover is not accounted for.
<li>Date mark to smaller, baluster form example is extremely rubbed and illegible, so date mark noted is that on the cover.
<li>Several items show some noticeable bashes and dents to central bodies and covers.
<li>Some piercing to covers shows polish and dirt residue.
