Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver cigarette case, of rounded rectangular and slightly curved form, the plain exterior with crest engraving to the front and hinge opening to reveal a gilt interior with foliate-scroll pierced clip. Hallmarked William Summers, London 1891. Measuring 3.5" (9cm) by 2.75" (7cm), gross weight 3.41 ozt (106.2 grams).

<li>Displaying some general expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
<li>With some minor surface nicks all over, and some heavier scratches to some areas.
<li>Hinge opening appears in good working order and case closes securely.
<li>Gilt interior a little faded in places.
<li>Some stained marks and rust around the scew fitting and hinges of the clip.
<li>Hallmarks located to interior with part marks to clip; all all legible although maker's marks partly rubbed.
