Full Lot Description
A George V silver tea strainer, with raised border and elegant, shaped handle, hallmarked Wakely & Wheeler, London 1919 and a 1930's example with scalloped rim, having a pierced terminal to handle, hallmarked Viner's Ltd, Sheffield 1933. Together with a modern silver twin-handled strainer and a set of three tea strainer bowls with shell hook, each hallmarked to various makers, Sheffield 1987, 1990 and 1991. Gross weight 7.29 ozt (227 grams).

<li>George V example appears to have a slight compression to central bowl.
<li>Piercing to central bowl of the 1930's example is quite jammed with dirt and polish residue.
<li>Edge to double handled example shows dark tarnishing.
<li>Set of three are each missing their handle, two showing some filling within.
