A late 19th century Dutch silver novelty pepper pot modelled as a windmill upon four paw feet, having articulated blades and a detachable pierced top, with various marks including Dutch key export mark, lion rampant for minimum 934 standard and date letter for 1890, also hallmarked London 1890 with Foreign mark. Height 6.75" (17cm), gross weight 6.52 ozt (203 grams).
