A late 18th century Southern Italian gold seed pearl earring, later converted to a brooch.

Earring later converted to a brooch. Brooch fittings of base metal, slight soft solder at the pin hinge mount.
Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
Seed pearls appear well mached with a silvery white hue. Varied shape. Slight variations in lustre. Few discoloured.
