A 19th century silver and gold, calibre-cut turquoise and diamond point feather brooch.

Condition Report
Scratches and small marks. General, varied discolouration.
Small dents to the mounts.
Diamonds appear relatively bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.
One diamond chipped and cracked through.
Turquoise appear a fairly well matched light medium blue through slightly greenish blue.
Few slightly ill-fitting to the mount. One cracked through with glue-like substance visible across the surface.
Reverse stem electronically tests as approximately 14-15ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
