Surface scratches and minor marks.
Varied wear to the gilt finish, noticeably to the chain and back of the pendant.
Jeweller-type scratch marks to the back of the pendant.
Split pearls appear well matched. Minor discolourations. Good lustre. Two of the split pearls to the surmount show white cement/glue-like substance to the edge.
Moonstone shows good slightly bluish white adularescence. Minor abrasions.
Electronically tests as approximately 15ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
