An early Victorian 18ct gold garnet, ruby and diamond foliate drop necklace.
Estimated old-cut diamond weight 0.60ct.
Stamped 18ct.
Length of central drop 4.3cms. Length of necklace 49.5cms. 10.3gms.

Condition Report
General light marks and wear. One garnet drop deficient. Dark discolouration to diamond settings and links, possibly from repair or later addition. One 'leaf' slightly distorted towards end.
Old-cut diamonds are fairly bright and lively.
One rose-cut diamond with some abrasion and a surface reaching inclusion.
Garnets are a deep purplish red hue, well saturated with fairly good clarity.
Rubies are a vivid pink hue, well saturated with good clarity.
Garnets with small chips to drill holes. Stones with minor abrasions.
