Full Lot Description
A Russian silver and blue guilloché enamel kovsh, having amethyst cabochon below Russian Imperial Eagle handle, with conforming, applied gilt design to interior bowl, and with enamelled detail and central inset diamond to front, below ball terminal. Stamped 88 and struck with maker's mark. Maximum length approx. 21cm, gross weight 11ozt (342g).

Condition Report
- Item shows general surface scratches, marks and tarnishing.
- Silver would benefit from a light clean.
- Blue enamel is in good condition, bright and intact, showing some minor damage to edges to edges of silver rim and base that are only visible on very close inspection.
- Enamel to front applied Imperial Eagle also appears in fair condition, with the black enamel to wings looking slightly bumpy.
- Mount panel to handle, with central amethyst cabochon, shows a few small holes around holes to join to handle.
- Joins of front panel and mount panel to rim appear slightly rough.
- Ball terminal is misshapen and dented.
- Maker's mark is rubbed to centre.
