An early 20th century 9ct gold graduated amethyst necklace.
Apparent largest amethyst calculated weight 4.63cts, based on estimated dimensions of 14.1 by 10.5 by 5.6mms.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
Areas of discolouration, probable alterations/repairs.
The largest amethyst does not hang at the centre on the chain.
Amethyst appear a fairly well matched medium slightly pinkish purple.
Varied colour zoning. Mostly minor abrasions.
Many amethyst have been drilled on one short side to hang as drops.
