A mid-20th century silver hip flask, of plain and rounded rectangular form, with bayonet closure lid on hinged arm. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1948. Height 15.5cm, gross weight 8.34ozt (259.4g).

Condition Report
- Appears very dirty and tarnished all over with some residues; in need of a clean.
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches, and a couple of minor surface dints.
- Some heavier wear around edges with a visible seam line.
- Bayonet closure appears a little stiff but is in working order and closes securely.
- Hallmarks located to base, these clear and legible; with further lion passant marks to hinged arm and lid.
