A 1930's silver hip flask, of rounded rectangular form with canted edge, and hinged arm to lid with bayonet closure. Hallmarked London 1931, maker's mark partly worn, possibly Mappin & Webb Ltd. Height 12.5cm, gross weight 4.56ozt (141.8g).

- Appears very tired, dirty and tarnished all over and in need of a clean.
- Displaying many surface scratches, nicks, and minor dints or bruises; and general surface wear throughout.
- Seam line is visible all the way around with some possible small repairs.
- Hinged lid has several nicks and a notable bash to the edge on one side; it closes securely.
- Hallmarks located to base, maker's mark mostly worn and obscured; one of the lion passant marks also heavily rubbed.
