Full Lot Description

Three silver miniature or toy chairs, of varied design, hallmarked Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck, Chester import 1903, John George Piddington, London import 1905 and one example with Dutch key mark and indistinct British hallmarks; plus two silver thimbles, one of gilt form with floral border, hallmarked James Swann & Son, Birmingham 1959, and the other with repeated foliate engraved pattern, hallmarked Charles Horner Ltd, Chester 1907, plus a plated vesta case. Height of tallest chair 5.5cm, overall weight 1.8ozt (58.5g).

Condition Report

Items show varied degrees of surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
Chairs display very dark tarnishing all over.
Recesses to decoration to chairs show dirt and polish.
Appearance of all chairs is quite rough and uneven.
Thimbles appear in fair condition.
One thimble shows a few minor holes.
