Royal Naval interest, a silver and enamel cigarette case, the rounded rectangular form with engine-turned decoration all over and royal blue guilloché enamel panel to front with applied Royal Navy crown emblem, hallmarked John William Barrett, Birmingham 1941, length 11.5cm; together with a matching comb case, hallmarked Birmingham 1953, same maker, and lipstick holder, appears unmarked. Total gross weight 9.24ozt (287.2g). (3).

Condition Report
- All pieces displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches, and some tarnishing to the metal.
- Cigarette case appears in fairly good condition overall; enamel with surface marks and scratches and some minor edge nibbles; hinge and clasp in good working order and closes securely; hallmarks clear and legible; with personal engraving to interior 'Bill to Anna 25/7/45'
- Comb case showing some significant damage and losses to enamel; further damage around edges and ends of both parts with some likely solder repairs along seams; hallmarked to the smaller part only.
