A Russian silver and enamel cigarette case, the rounded rectangular form decorated all over with foliate scrolls in polychrome cloisonné enamel, within white beaded borders, with push release button opening. Marked inside 84 standard and AK. Measuring 11cm by 7cm, gross weight 7.89ozt (245.4g).

Condition Report

Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
Enamel decoration appears in good order overall with some minor damage; and colours appear bright.
Areas around the enamel appear quite tarnished or dirty and also with residues of old polish.
Hinge and clasp appear in good working order and the case closes securely.
Interior showing some tarnishing and minor surface bumps.
Assay marks located to interior and these clear and legible.
