Full Lot Description
Two early twentieth century silver mounted jewellery or trinket boxes, one of shaped rectangular form with engine-turned decoration surrounding a vacant cartouche, the other of plain square form, each with hinged covers opening to reveal silver-gilt and material lined interiors, hallmarked Chester 1908 and 1918. Together with a silver mounted circular trinket box with detachable cover decorated with tortoiseshell, Birmingham 1924 and a base metal and blue hardstone hinged trinket box, raised upon four ball feet.
