• Item shows general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
• Item appears unmarked, and tests around 80% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
• Fellows does not guarantee the standard of silver, gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
• Areas surrounding stones to sides appear scratched and darkly tarnished.
• Ball feet appear slightly uneven and bashed, and show a notable wobble.
• Amazonite to rim shows very minor chips surrounding gilt band that encloses stone decoration.
• Hinged lid is slightly wobbly.
• Push lock is in good working condition.
