- Item is in overall fair condition, the silver very shiny and bright, in consideration of age and use, showing some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Corners shows notable bashes and dents.
- Recesses to embossing, especially to front, show polish residue.
- Hinged lid does not shut securely, and rattles on closure.
- Hallmarks are clear and legible.
- Sides are slightly dented.
