• Item is in overall fair condition, the silver very shiny and bright, in consideration of age and use, showing some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
• Corners shows notable bashes and dents.
• Recesses to embossing, especially to front, show polish residue.
• Hinged lid does not shut securely, and rattles on closure.
• Hallmarks are clear and legible.
• Sides are slightly dented.
