Condition Report
- In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- Significant loss of definition to the engine-turned decoration.
- The cartouche is heavily worn, engraved 'A. Goulston?'.
- There is a horizontal line visible to the bottom of the box which runs inline with the engine-turned decoration and feels like a slight ridge to touch.
- Remnants of polish visible and residue from a sticker and a circular surface mark to the interior.
- The silver-gilt is faded towards the middle of the box. Hallmarks clear and legible.
