A George IV silver snuff box, of rounded rectangular form with engine-turned decoration and reeded sides, the hinged lid with foliate-scroll chased border and central vacant name panel. Hallmarked Charles Rawlings, London 1825. Length 9.5cm, weight 4.73ozt (147g).

Condition Report

Appears in fairly good overall condition.
Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
Slightly heavier wear around edges and corners, including some minor nicks.
Some residues of old polish.
Hallmarks located to interior, with some minor rubbing and punches blackened with old polish residues, but all still legible.
