Full Lot Description
A William IV silver vinaigrette, having stepped border enclosing central engine-turned panel to both sides, opening to scrolled, pierced gilt grille, hallmarked Edward Smith, Birmingham 1834, length 4.3cm; plus two Georgian examples, the larger hallmarked Thomas Newbold, Birmingham 1825 (a.f), and the smaller with embossed foliage sprig, hallmarked Edward Smith, Birmingham 1817, both with gilt pierced grilles of varied designs. Overall weight 1.4ozt (46.3g).

Condition Report
- Items show varied degrees of surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- William IV silver vinaigrette is in fair condition, the silver generally bright and good gauge.
- Left side shows a small dint.
- Recesses to stepped detail show dark tarnishing.
- Stepped border to base with some minor nicks.
- Filling to one end of a hinge is missing, and there is a very minor split beside, to hinged lid.
- Interior and grille are in good condition, with some darker tarnishing to underside of grille.
- Grille is hallmarked
- Hallmarks are partially rubbed but overall legible.

- Larger Georgian example is in very poor condition, crushed and misshapen, with hinged lid become loose.
- Grille is uneven but generally intact.
- Underside shows rust and verdagris.

- Hinges to lid and grille are in good condition.
